Introduction

Standards and recognition of our efforts make an enormous and positive contribution to most aspects of our lives.  Rob Pike, Chair of CCA Standards Council gives us his thoughts. 

"How often in life do we as customers receive the type of service which makes us feel really great about the organisation and the person we are dealing with?  In other words, so engaged with that organisation that we are immediately advocates?


Equally how often do we, as providers of service, feel totally recognised by the organisation we work for?  So committed that we will continually strive for that organisation and be prepared to go the extra mile.


There is plenty of evidence to demonstrate that highly engaged employees inter-acting with highly engaged customers delivers the perfect cocktail for outstanding business results.  It is also pretty much accepted that the virtuous circle of engaged employees, engaged customers and outstanding business results starts with the energized and motivated employee.
